On our latest shopping excursion I mentioned to Kate that it would be nice to get a new dress for my birthday. When we were in Debenhams I spotted the zebra stripe 'Julian McDonald' dress that we had seen in Altrincham - just one -in my size. As I picked up the hanger I noticed the label had a half price sticker on it (from £50 to £25) so I had to try it on and it fitted like a glove! At the check-out I had another surprise when the sales assistant announced it had been further reduced to just £15!! (It looks much better on than the picture indicates) Talk about the bargain of the century - sometimes things are just meant to be and the universe ensures that they happen. So my grateful thanks go to the forces that be.
